The ToastyNES

As this is the first post, I think I should tell you what this (we)blog is all about. We will post updates (in this case it's really just a recounting of what has already passed) on projects we are in the middle of. Our first real project is the ToastyNES. At the moment we are trying to come up with a new project. As I am at college, and Bouldasaur is not, he has a bit more free time on his hands, and a lot more resources. This results in a lot of my "projects" at school being like "I'm going to watch every episode of Arrested Development in one week." Though these things are barely projects, I may make posts about them when bored. The actual projects this blog is for are things like the ToastyNES. What's the ToastyNES, you ask?
The ToastyNES is a state of the art toaster (George Foreman toaster/griddle) that has been transformed into something less useful (as it cannot feed you) but much cooler. It has been made so that it may play Nintendo games. It's the NES we're talking about here. The final product looks a little something like (or rather exactly like) this:

I know what you're thinking. "Holy shit! Is that a toaster or a Nintendo?" Well, that's a really stupid thing to be thinking. I just explained it to you.

Quite simply, one inserts the game into the toast slot, making sure everything is plugged in properly, and pushes down on the toast lowerer to turn it on. After that, everything is the same as a regular NES, just 7 times cooler at least.

Here are some progress shots:

Pretty neat, huh?

Email us at ToastyNES@gmail.com if you'd like us to make you one for some money. Price can be negotiated, probably.
